Ever since Dr. John Han fell off his bike at age 7, he knew he wanted to be a doctor. It was when he first watched Operation Smile on television, seeing the dentists change lives by helping children to smile and be happy, that he decided to become a pediatric dentist. If you ask Dr. Han what he loves most about his job, he’ll tell you it’s providing relief to children in pain and building relationships with the families of his patients.
Dr. Han’s mission is to provide a comfortable atmosphere for families while offering the best oral health care possible. He also believes that it’s important to educate parents about their child’s dental health and offer a variety of treatment methods which allow parents to make an educated decision about treatment.
Dr. Han is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Northern Virginia Dental Society. He graduated from the Medical College of Virginia and obtained his pediatric dental training at Children’s National Medical Center. He also served as faculty at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dentistry, Pediatric Department.
